Upper Commemoration Day 2023

On Saturday 27th May we held our Upper Commemoration Day at the College.

Things kicked off on Friday evening with the annual Commem Concert in the Chapel showcasing Upper Sixth soloists who were performing for their final time. This was followed by the finals of the inter house dance competition, which was full of fun and joy and the soul band performed to an enthusiastic audience who sang along and made use of the dance floor.

Saturday morning began in the Chapel with a Commemoration service followed by speeches and prizes in the marquee from the Headmaster, Chair of Council and the three Heads of School who spoke extremely well and warmly about their experience at the College.

After drinks in Houses and a delicious lunch in the marquee, there were exhibitions and activities galore such as Art and Science displays, Junior and Senior Mixed Tennis Championship finals, a CCF Gun Run on The Close and OC Cricket.
