Two OCs Selected to Face Australia

As part of their UK tour, the Australian national rugby team will play two matches this weekend, first against Bristol Bears and then England. In both matches, OCs will be starting in key positions.

On Friday 8th November, Australia will face Bristol Bears at Ashton Gate Stadium, where OC Sam Worsley, is starting the match at number ten. This is the first time Australia has played in Bristol since 1909.

In a fast-turnaround for the Wallabies, they will then play England at Twickenham on Saturday 9th November, where Immanuel Feyi-Waboso will start on the wing. This continues Immanuel’s outstanding run in the starting line-up for England, cementing his status as one of our brightest young talents.

Matt Salter, Director of Rugby said “Moments like these are what we’re working for, seeing young OCs facing some of the greatest rugby sides in the world. It’s not just a moment of pride for the College and our high performance rugby programme, it’s a huge source of inspiration for our current players that competing at the very highest level is within their reach.”

Best of luck to Sam and Immanuel!
