Gold DofE pupils complete qualifying expedition

During half term, three teams of Gold Duke of Edinbugh pupils completed their practice and qualifying expedition in the Black Mountains.

During their four-day qualifying expedition the students navigated over 80km and climbed 3,000m of ascent, summiting peaks including Pen Allt-Mawr (719m), Pen Twyn Glas 646m, Mynydd Llysiau 663m, Twmpa (690m) and Hay Bluff (677)m.

All 21 pupils did fantastic and passed their Gold Expedition!
