Girls’ Netball 1st team’s best performance as a squad so far

The senior girls’ 1st Team took on a strong Kingswood side this Saturday. The team started confidently implementing everything we had been working on in training.

The half-time score saw Kingswood with a six goal lead, but with a few changes and some clear focus the girls came out fighting in the second half winning the 3rd quarter 12-9, with both teams knowing it could go either way.

A very contested final quarter saw the ball going from one end to the other with both defensive ends turning ball. The final score being Clifton 29 – Kingswood 35.

A fantastic display of netball from both teams, Clifton remained composed and focused and showed great sportsmanship throughout. It was their best performance as a squad to date as we continue the season building on what we have learnt from each match.
