Clifton musicians celebrate Grade 8 success

Enormous congratulations go to our musicians who took their Grade 8 music examinations (the highest level pre diploma) at the end of last term.

Results were most impressive with three merits – well done to Tom (voice), Georgie (cello) and Cici (clarinet) and a superb five distinctions: Victor and Solomon (clarinet), Ella (oboe), Naomi (flute), and Sarah (piano).

This is a fine achievement for these talented and hard-working individuals, and we look forward to hearing them in a real concert soon. In the meantime you can view some recordings of our woodwind pupils on the links below, including music by CPE Bach, Malcolm Arnold and Bernstein.

A big well done must also go to everyone else who took Grade 7 or below – and we wish those students all the best with their efforts to reach the top grade in the future!
