Clifton College pupils attend Youth Strike 4 Climate
This morning, Clifton College pupils were given the opportunity to join the 30,000 people at College Green in Bristol for the YouthStrike4Climate to hear speeches by climate activists and Greta Thunberg.
It is very much in keeping with the College’s values to support our pupils as they strive to make a positive difference in the world by empowering them to explore both what motivates them and what matters to them.
Therefore, we firmly believe in the importance of allowing those who were interested to join staff members at this morning’s strike. It is clear that many of them are passionate about climate change and want to have their voices heard on a global scale.
“We are the change, and change is coming whether you like it or not,” Greta Thunberg said whilst speaking at the climate strike. The 17-year-old Swedish environmentalist then lead the march through the city.
