Last Thursday, Year 5 spent a day deep diving into Mexican festivals to supplement their History topic on the Maya Civilisation and Geography topic on Mexico.
Throughout the day they learned about Cinco de Mayo and Dia de Los Muertos through a number of activities.
Face painting, Mariachi bands, Mexican feasts, Spanish lessons and traditional Mexican party games certainly made the day one to remember!
