Year 7 Science Day focuses on sustainability

Our Year 7 pupils recently enjoyed a day of Science at the Upper School, focusing on sustainability.

The morning featured workshops where they made seed paper and studied seed dispersal in biology, created potato-based plastic in chemistry, and built wind turbines to explore renewable energy in physics.

In the afternoon, they analysed data on global warming and climate change, learning to distinguish reliable data. The pupils had an informative day and represented the Prep School excellently.

A big thank you to Mrs Kelly, Head of Science at the Upper School, and her team for organising such an enriching experience.

The pupils are very enthusiastic about the scientific opportunities awaiting them in the Upper School!
