Golf at Clifton is growing year on year. We now run a programme for our elite golfers that sees them using the school’s own state of the art driving range at our Beggar’s Bush site.

There are also sessions available for improvers and beginners in which they attend the driving range and receive tuition and work towards gaining a handicap. The school’s home golf course is Bristol and Clifton golf club, a stunning parkland course, that all pupils are encouraged to join as members.

In the Prep School, golf is included in the PE curriculum from Year 6 and after-school golf clubs are run for those keen to do more.

At elite level, we compete in national independent schools events both strokeplay and matchplay. We also enter our top individual players in ISGA world ranking events against the best schools and universities in the country.

Golf is now an all year round sport at Clifton, with facilities allowing undercover practice.
