Fantastic day for U8 and U9 Tag Rugby Festival

On Saturday, we hosted our annual U8 and U9 Tag Rugby Festival. With visiting teams from BGS, Clifton High, Millfield, St Johns, Cheltenham and Dean Close there was plenty of rugby to be played.

Mr Finn, Head of Pre-Prep Sport said, “the U8 children played fantastically well and made massive progress throughout the morning. The determination of the children was incredible, whether it was making a diving tag, a pass to someone in space or reacting to the ball being on the floor. Everyone should be proud of how they played.”

Mr Digby, Head of Prep Sport said, “‘the U9 age group had a wonderful morning on the Close playing some great rugby for the fifty plus parents and spectators. The three Clifton teams gave their all throughout and have shown such improvement since their first few games of the season a week or so ago. It was lovely to see every single boy in this age group showcasing what a talented bunch of boys they are.”
