Our superb on-site sporting facilities include The Close, nestled in the heart of the campus, where School buildings act as a stunning backdrop to matches. The Close has witnessed many magnificent sporting achievements, including the highest-ever recorded score in cricket, when the 13-year-old schoolboy A.E.J. Collins scored 628 not out over four afternoons in June 1899.
